For designing a small house point to be consider during Planning :-

  1. Construction on the North and East sides of the quadrant should be less, and construction on the south and west side should be more efficient, which could lead to better sunlight.
  2. There will be open space on all sides of the construction. The height of the plinth will be 2 to 4 feet.
  3. Do not make any kind of construction with the help of wall in the north-east, south-east(volcanic) or north-west (wind) sections. With the help of the wall in the south-western part you can buid a warehouse (Lumber Room) to store trash.
  4. In the south-eastern part of the volcano, 2 to 3 feet of space can be separated from the wall to make the watchman's quarters, the boiler room, the transformer room, and the canteen.
  5. Under ground water storage tanks, gardens, fountains etc can be built in the north-east section. But the height of all this must be lower than the plinth of the house.
  6. Do not place wells, tube wells etc. in front of the main gate of the fence. The edge can be placed.
How to divide the land into octagonal parts :-

 The centre of the north-south line of the continent is tilted at an angle of 22.5 degrees to the east and 22.5 degrees to the west a line is drawn. Similarly, a line is drawn at an angle of 22.5 degrees to the north and 22.5 degrees south to centre of the east-west line.
